Masi received her Associate of Applied Science degree in Dental Hygiene from NVCC Medical Education Campus in 2009 and been practicing ever since. Masi is an extremely talented patient educator hygienist and very passionate about helping people understand the importance of their oral health. Masi is an Orofacial Myology certified treating patients with variety of oral and facial muscle postural and functional disorders and habit patterns that may disrupt normal dental development.
Christina has a been licensed hygienist since 2007. Christina was born and raised in West Michigan, but she has lived in the DMV area for the past 12 years. It is a priority for Christina that each and every patient experience is better than their last one – she loves being able to make anxious patients feel at ease and comfortable for every visit! Christina is honored to be a part of a dental team that is dedicated to its patients and makes everyone feel like family. She is married and has two beautiful daughters. Her hobbies include playing golf, tea parties with her daughters, camping, hiking and finding new restaurants to try.
Jan has been the Office Manager of Pal Family Dentistry for over 5 years and now serves as Practice Director overseeing the operations of both our Reston and Annandale locations. She is a Northern Virginia native and George Mason University graduate. Jan has been working in the dental field for over 20 years. Jan enjoys working with patients, is thorough in her management of insurance claims, scheduling appointments and is the backbone of all our day to day operations. She brings invaluable knowledge and experience to our practice. Jan enjoys reading and spending time with her family in her free time.
Dr. Sandhya Pal is a third generation dentist who has been practicing for 15 years. She earned her B.S. in Biology with a double minor in Spanish and Industrial Management from Carnegie Mellon University and a D.D.S. from Howard University School of Dentistry with honors in Oral Diagnosis and Radiology.
Dr. Pal’s vision for the practice derives from her love of people. She keeps her patients happy and their mouths healthy with a personal touch and gentle hands. She also believes good communication and creating an interpersonal connection is how she is able to build trust and ultimately alleviate fears.
She has excelled in all aspects of dentistry including root canals, extractions, surgical placement and restoration of implants, same day crowns and bridges, Invisalign orthodontics combined with Propel orthodontics, sedation dentistry, pediatrics and cosmetic design. She is always striving to learn more about the ever changing field of dentistry. She is passionate about giving her patients the best materials, equipment and technology to make for fast, painless and longer lasting dentistry.
Dr. Pal was recognized for her outstanding service after receiving the Patient’s Choice Award in 2013 and America’s Top Dentist Award in 2014.
While not practicing dentistry, Dr. Pal enjoys exploring nature trails, roasting marshmallows over an open fire, and creating priceless memories with her husband and three children.
Julianna came to the U.S. from Latvia in 2001 to pursue a higher education. She earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Global Health from George Mason University. Julianna came to our practice over 5 years ago with experience from working with general dentists, endodontists and oral surgeons. Her experience of over 10 years and vast dental knowledge makes her vital to the practice. Julianna takes great pride in her work and strives to provide a comforting experience for every patient.
